Thanks for that advice. My dad actually knows Memphis pretty well and has done work there in the past. However, he's not at all fond of it. I'll amend the itinerary I'm giving him to say Memphis as the first overnight. Have you ever driven west on 40? I think OKC seems doable for night 2. I am trying to break this up into 450-500 mile incriments, and I think MEM-OKC is about that.
