I finally got busted down to PS from SG. This wasn't unexpected as I've only put ~30 SC's in my QFF account in the last 2 years.
When I got my PS kit the other day I noticed that it had the usual bag tags, card and QP one time entry pass. I was about to throw out the other crap and then I noticed there was a QP card in there! It is valid three months from my renewal date.
This is what I found in the letter:
Your Qantas Club Membership
Your complimentary Qantas (sic) Club membership has been extended with our compliments until 28 Feburary 2006. We have enclosed a new Qantas Club card so you may continue to enjoy the comfort and privacy of our lounges, plus all the other benefits that enhance your travel experience. We've also enclosed one complimentary Qantas Club invitation, should you wish to invite a guest to join you in the comfort of the lounge. Please see the reverse of the invitation for conditions of use.
I probably won't use it, but I thought it was a nice touch. I haven't seen it mentioned on FT before, so I wondered if it was a new perk?
