Hp F

I flew ORDLAS on HP, and my paid upgrade did not clear (this was prior to merger). I asked the f/a what I was missing as far as the F class meal, and she said just cold chicken or something. She almost said without saying it that I was probably better off that I had not been charged the $150 or whatever it is to upgrade. She said hot meals were served in F perhaps only out of New York airports? Also I liked the UA Ted snack boxes over the HP one though this may have just been personal preference as to the snacks offered. The HP crews and agents were pleasant though.

Interesting to see that even transcon US is still not serving a full meal. Does US have meals say on something like BOS-CLT? On UA something like BOS-ORD about 2 hours and 800-900 miles has a hot meal option in F usually some kind of wrap or salad although they don't change the menu selections out that much.
