Neverlost got me lost, great service from Hertz
On a recent trip to Honolulu, we decided to visit the Dole Pineapple Plantation. After getting Neverlost all set-up, we set out on our journey. As we pulled up to the US Army Schofield Barracks, I got the pleasant "you have arrived". Huh?
When I get Neverlost I never carry a map, since I have never had it be wrong. After an hour of driving, talking to a gas station attendent, then talking to a nice young man with a big gun, we did finally find the Dole Plantation. When I turned the car in, and was asked if the car was satisfactory, I told them the car was great, accept that it NL doesn't know where the Dole Plantation is. He shrugged his shoulders.
When I got home, I emailed Hertz sharing my frustration. In 12 hours, I had an email appologizing and letting me know they were creditting back the 2 days of NL+taxes.
3 days later I received a letter from a Customer Service Manager at Hertz Neverlost, appologizing, acknowledging that they had recently identified an error in the mapping software, that it would be fixed in early 2006, and 2 certs for free NL days.
I guess now I'll take a map, even if I get NL!
