You migh find yourself very lucky trying with KE. Based on my experience in the past year trying to get international award seats out of AF, DL, NW and KE, KE has given me 90+% success rate (not including those dates that fall on their blackout date) while AF is about 60-70%, DL ~ 40-50% and NW ~ less than 5% !!!

You are correct on U, D, and A on KE. As far as I know now, KE has blackout date for SkyTeam Award seats (except its own program) from May 19-June something (if not mistaken it is the 19th)....and then July 20-Aug 20 (US to ICN segment is OK).
