Also, I seem to remember that the travellators (moving walkways) have sensors, and will start either just before or when you get on them. Don't make the assumption that that they are broken or shut down if they're not running. Stupid me, that's what I did and thus did a lot of extra walking for no reason!
Thanks Maxwell Smart! I made a mistake in my initial post, I'm leaving at 8am so I'm afraid I won't have the time to use the swimming pool - but it's useful info. The second point is very helpful because I, for one, wouldn't have tried to have a go if it was stopped!! So when taking the travellator, I'll think of you! :-)
