Called expedia today to get the $250 japan voucher changed to a $200 worldwide voucher, and was denied. They said they would change it to a $100 voucher but couldnt do $200. I then said "My friend was able to get a $200 voucher" and the rep checked again, and came back and still only offered $100 voucher. will try again tomorrow.

excellent. Called again, and they were able to drop me a $200 good will coupon that is Good until 30-Nov-06. Im happy that they did this for goodwill sake. not too happy about how they handled the situation overall.
