I've shared the table for both dinner and breakfast with Mrs DocH and it is fine. Much mor esociable than eating seperately. It is more comfortable when Mrs DocH is on the small seat, but we have taken it in turns !

Sharing the table does get around the irritation of sitting in the middle seats and being given meals at different times.
