I recently ran into the same problem when I booked 3 rooms at the Santa Clara Hiton during my stay there.
I was told I would get credited with 3 stays, (which I doubted very seriously) ,though I did expect to get the amounts spent on the 3 rooms since my HHonors # was asociated with each room.
I ended up calling the Hhonors desk and they said that the most that they're able to provide are the amounts of the folios for 2 of the rooms.
