There is a slew of non AA employees for baggage screening and they are plain terrible. But that isnt an AA problem and is more of problem with DEL.
The AAI employees doing checked baggage screening don't seem to really care -- while the CISF ones at the gate-area checkpoints do seem to care a little more about cabin baggage. I wonder if the AAI employees are actually paying appropriate attention at all or are just getting lucky. (I know that they've missed quite a few things in the past and don't really care when there ability to see the bags contents are impaired/obstructed by stacks of items.)

I'm very happy to hear that AA is delivering up to expectations when there is a hiccup on either side of the trip. And the Maurya Sheraton in DEL and the Hilton ORD are perfectly fine by me.
