I agree that some of the fault lies on me...I plan to call the hotel on Tuesday to follow up on everything. I didn't push the issue on Friday because I wasn't sure if I would end up on the road another night or not. I managed to get home with only a 5 hour delay on my situation. Pretty damn good considering it is a bad time of year to fly stand by. Good thing I was Air Canada Elite and managed to get bumped near the top of the stand-by list. I do have a cell with me and I could have set the alarm on the clock as well..

I will let you guys know how it works out. It was in San Francisco that this happened....I was flying back to Toronto for the holidays..
