If you need to travel BUF-MHT, book a roundtrip using BUF as your departure city and BWI as your arrival city, then MHT as your "Return to" city. The system will price the legs separately, but your reservation will indicate that you are changing plans in BWI as long as you keep your layover under 4 hours. Then do the same thing with the return. This should save you if you misconnect since it's all part of the same PNR.

I've never actually had to do this, but I'm curious that if you did, would you still get RR credit for each of the individual legs? If you don't, it's probably not worth it then. Anyone know?

But, the bad part is that if there are delays, you will not be protected on the other legs and probably will have to pay full fare.
