In 2003, I reached the SE threshold mileage, almost on the last day of the year - with 12 miles to spare. With the IT computer sweep of all Aeroplan accounts by the Sunday of the first weekend in 2004, I was designated as a SE on the aeroplan web site the next day. I presume that the same thing will happen for 2006.
