OTOH, WN will not even sell me a ticket BUF-MHT, and I travel that route and return every week.

So, I buy individual legs (and get 4 credits/week). Yes, I have to be aware of possible mis-connects in BWI, but I buy tickets for the leg I want and the next leg too -- I use the one for the flight I make and the other is then returned and the money is available to buy additional tickets.

So far I've done OK, but I'm sure there will come a time when I'll wind up stranded in BWI. However, that's usually on my homeward bound leg, so it won't kill me.

Only with Southwest could I do this -- any other airline would eat me alive with change fees.
