OK I know this is probably a silly question, but after realizing that I didn't need the double EQM promo to keep my 1k status, I completely blanked and forgot that my partner needed it, so he will now end the year at just over 47,000 and fail to qualify for 1P. We're in Eurpoe until 12/31, so no opportunity to do a mileage run. I'd sign him up for Visa Plat for the bonus, but I understand this won't post in time - and he hasn't spent nearly enough for the $10,000 EQM Visa bonus.

Did I totally screw him over or is there any way to salvage his 1P status?
