A former Hershey resident won’t be home for the holidays this year. After being bumped from his flight in Los Angeles and sitting in the airport for two days on standby, Scott Johnson reluctantly gave up.

“I sat in that airport for two days,” Johnson said. “I tried every way I knew to get a flight to Denver but when the last flight left Thursday night, I was crushed I wasn’t on it. I just had to give up.”
