Went to Sal y Cavaro recently. I thought it was excellent, and pretty indistinguishable from Fogo. Fogo might be just a touch better on the non-beef meets, but a touch less on the rest of the food. Sal y Cavaro's atmosphere was much nicer, however. I also like the fact that you can go casually dressed and not get crap service for it, which you can't do easily at a traditional steakhouse like Morton's.
It's not cheap for dinner - with a reasonable amount of booze and dessert, and tip, it came out to $70. My main lament, however, is that you get served SO many kinds of meats that I never completely remember which ones were which.
At $70, I can only justify it for a special event, not for just going out.
