I couldn't care less what KE says, KE is always a bit of an addball with many matters. As for the DL page cited above it also says "Checked baggage allowances differ to destinations beyond the continental United States. Passengers are encouraged to direct specific questions to the operating carrier and/or local government agency. This would include, but is not limited to, information regarding quarantines, baggage allowances, and excess charges."
