Wake up Call?

I know this shouldn't have happened, I really should have set the alarm clock(but it was flashing when I arrived, and I didn't bother with it).

Anyhow, I was at a 4 points last night and while checking in, I arranged a 3:45 wake up call. The attendand wrote it down on the paper I signed while checking in. Well I awoke at 7:15 this morning, and they hotel hadn't called me. Before heading to the airport, the hotel admitted it was their fault and didn't know why it hadn't been programmed into the system..

Anyhow, my question is this, what type of compensation should I expect from the hotel? They ruined my day, I had to spend it waiting for stand-by flights and arrange a new ride home from the airport. Thank god I am Star Alliance Gold and I was able to get across the country flying stand by on one of the worst days of the year to do so!

What do you think?
