You said you signed up in January? The 5,000 mile bonus promotion wasn't issued to employees to even know about it until 19Feb01. This promotion lasts until 30APR01. As soon as your membership is processed, the 5,000 miles would of been posted.

We did have another promotion that was from 01DEC00-31MAR01 that would of entitled you to a 5,000 mile bonus being a *GM*, as long as you were joining the CRC for the first time (or if you had been expired for 6 mths or more), and you used your AmEx DL SkyMiles credit card to make the purchase.

One good thing about the SkyMiles program is that items are posted very well. Your flights are posted sometimes before you even take off. I'm confident if you meet the requirements, you'll get your miles.

If Customer Care hasn't met your expectations, the next time you're in a CRC, have one of them call the CRC Service Center (just make sure its during banker's hours).
