Red face What travel goals did you accomplish or fail?
On January 1, 2005 we all had ideas/dreams as to what elite status(airline/hotel), destinations visted, mileage gained,... we all wanted to accomplish by this time of the year. Unfortunately, life has other plans for us sometimes.

What did you complete, and what did you miss?

My goals were mostly status related.

Accomplished

Airlines
  • AA EXP - Maintained
  • BA Silver - Maintained
  • HP Plat - Maintained
  • UA - Premier
  • VS Silver - Maintained

Hotels
  • HH Diamond
  • IC Plat Ambassador
  • SPG Gold

Missed - Mostly due to that dammned 70yo granny causing my accident.

Airlines
  • AA 1MM status 140k short
  • AS MVP - No big loss there
  • BA Gold
  • VS Gold
  • UA 1K - Probably unrealistic considering the 150k I flew on AA.

Hotels
  • SPG Platinum

Misc
  • A two week vacation in Brazil
  • 200k BIS miles on AA
