EARLY WARNING of Heavy Snow Issued by the Met Office at 09:48 on Friday, 23 December

OVERALL RISK ASSESSMENT: The probability of disruption due to severe weather conditions in part of the United Kingdom within the next 120 hours is 60 percent.
This is the first warning of disruption due to Heavy Snow.
The Met Office is expecting snow showers to become frequent over southern and eastern parts of the United Kingdom during Tuesday 27th and Wednesday 28th December.
There is the potential for several centimetres of snow in places, however, some uncertainty exists at this stage relating to snow amounts and where it will fall.
It is important to keep in touch with updated Met Office forecasts.
This warning will be updated by 1000, tomorrow, Christmas Eve.
Theres a lot of discussion from weather enthusiasts as to the extent of the cold spell here

This might be one to keep an eye on as delays are quite possible.
