Odd domestic provisioning?
Hey everyone... yesterday evening I flew from MIA to BOS and was a little surprised by the "provisioning"... could it have been a hoilday treat?
First of all, I boarded the aircraft and took my seat in first... and each seat was waiting with a blanket AND pillow! Then the FA's indeed did take our jackets immediately and offered a predeparture drink service. Aside from the fact that they offered it, what was even more interesting was the fact that I saw them pouring champagne?! When they offered the "snack" service... it consisted of warm nuts, a choice of turkey or chicken salad wrap (NO egg salad... yippie), a small side salad and of course the lemon cookies.
As of recent, pillows, snacks with salads, predeparture drinks, etc. have not been on my flights... so what happened here yesterday? Was it the holiday season or just a goof?
Oh, and furthermore, the FA's were all VERY pleasant... sweet almost! Hmmm... can we bottle this up and keep it the rest of the year?!
