Last time I checked,
no one was everyone which seems to include me.

And with a lot of the smaller airports waiting for people to stow their crap means standing outside in the cold waiting to board the plane!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Delta doesn't have avros, I think it's NW that does. Maybe your beef should be with NW not DL? Or maybe your beef should be that it's Christmas and every Joe Granny Six-Pack Once a Year flyer is flying and doesn't know the rules or how to board efficiently or even know how to go through security since they do it once a year? And if you are so sick of the line being held up by shopping bags, duffle bags, don't ever fly out of Orlando where people do have lots of shopping bags, but I have to admit that DL has clamped down on this big time since 9/11. Rarely do I see families with 6 Mickey Mouse shopping bags each.

If you fly 45 weeks a year, the odds are greater that your bags will be delayed than if if you fly 10-12 weeks a year (this is what it takes to get Silver on DL which is in your profile). And can you please reference statistics that say that bags are being delayed less now than in the good old days?
