Seriosuly, though, if the airlines were better about returnin bags efficiently, most people would happily check their bags.
I think a lot of people still cite old lost bag stats and experiences. The percentage lost is so small now and even the delayed percentage is very very tiny. Heck in many cases my checked baggage does better than I do on making the right flight and getting home on time!
