I am deeply shocked and offended that you would so blatantly ignore the fact that half the planet does not celebrate the winter sostice holiday at this time. What? The Southern Hemisphere does not exist? Or are we simply not good enough for you because we were born in a part of the world that tilts further towards the sun than you at this point in the Earth's orbit about the Sun? (Which, I might add, most likely is a result of some imperialist and oppressive policy of the now thankfully extinct Britsh Empire to rob the world of its resources.) You can stuff your "winter" solstice holiday somewhere else!
