The CRJ is a bit too short to get the full effect, but the longer variants are definitely quieter up front than at the back.
Absolutey. I totally agree 100%.
I loved the 727, DC-9/MD80 family for this very reason. However the way things are going, it looks like it will be only the small regional jets which have this kind of arrangement, which as you state, are often too short to see the benefit.
Thank god American have hundreds of the things, thats what I say!
