A belated post to this thread, but I wonder that anyone can tolerate flying such an outfit. One thing I can say for DJ, they make flying with QF seem positively delightful.
Would say one thing though. If you just want to get there comfortably in Y I would definitely recommend DJ's Blue Zone seating (by an Emergency Exit) for extra legroom on this longer flight. Those extra few inches sure are more comfortable for an extra $30??
Of course you may have certain needs on your flight that make QF a far more attractive option (referring to the previous posts in this thread).
