I understand and agree to some degree with what you are saying. However, as I see it, the real problem for me is that I am far beyond PM and my benifets have eroded to the point where the FF program (as a mainly transatlantic flyer) is not competitive with other airlines, and this in combination with the "we don't bend rules or really care about you" attitude has made me leave.
Why create a new level for DL's best flyers, why not just slightly increase the PM features, sort of half way back to where they were with the SWUs, and all would be fine (or at least for the FF program.)
It just seems to me DL is not the same quality operation it was 1 year ago and that they have no intenion to return to the good old days of value for money. I would love to be proved wrong and return one day!
