It seems to me, that DL is missing the boat because there is a major void in the Medallion award levels. There is no incentative aside from the 100% matching of miles between GM & PM. The segment upgrades for GM's add up so quickly that we rarely use them all. I for one will fly AA as my backup carrier and achieve Advantage Gold with them and still become a GM at DL. If they want me to give them all of the 75k I travel a year, give me a reason. I have more DL and Amex miles than I can use in one year. Also with the cutbacks in upgradeable seat inventory in B/E, the miles that we do have are worthless.

I am curious as to the feelings of the DL board members are on this issue.
