BTW, it seems odd that airlines are considering introducing mobile phones as whenever the topic comes up it is very rare that someone agrees that use of mobiles onboard is a good thing. Strange considering the fact FTers, many of whom are always on the road rely on these things. I think part of the attraction of flying is the fact for once you are uncontactable.
Part of the annoyance is awful sound of people switching on their Nokias as the plane comes to a halt and then you get 300 phones bleeping simultaneously, but slightly out of time that are either sending you a text message to say 'Welcome to XXX' or some friend has dropped you a voicemail.
