Though its been said many times, many ways.....
The people who are in charge of united.com truly are idiots. This isn't a one-time event - it seems like at least once a week they totally mess it up. One does have to wonder what the cost would be to just pay someone to fix it vs. the cumulative amount of business they've lost over the years.
Of the the websites I use regularly, united.com is by far the least reliable. Truly shameful, and it tarnishes the image of the entire airline. And, it's so easily fixed - the rest of the world seems to have figured out how to keep a website up and running!
This probably goes to the top of my "things to fix when UA leaves BK" list.
