I (company) purchased a B-Fare ticket and I am being offered an E-First Upgrade for like $25. It would be nice to have the additonal room but here is my question....

If I purchase the upgrade will I still get the +50% bonus elite qualifying miles that I would get for purchasing the B-fare ticket?

I will hit silver for the first time after this trip only if I get the +50% so I don't want to do anything to mess that up.
