My co-worker and I went with the $10 Starbucks gift card. If there's a group staying, then you can share the cost and give a more expensive gift. I'll admit it's hard to come up with something that everyone can enjoy. I think gift certificates (shopping, food, coffee, movies, etc.) are probably the best bet.
