I just noticed the following things about the WSJ subscriptions that are curious.
1) If you order using FF miles,
1900 FF miles is about 26 weeks for (as was stated in another post) about 100 dollars in value.
2) If you order using cash (via the FF programs "earn" sites), is maybe about the same. As an example - with NW, you can earn 22 miles/dollar, but a
52 week subscription is 215 dollars.
3) If you go directly to the WSJ website, you can get a subscription for
59 dollars for 26 weeks or for
99 dollars for 52 weeks.
So the "free/bonus" FF miles being offered cost about twice as much (or more) as you have to spend!
