WHY woould the FA have to 'lift' these mesh curtains??
The assumption is that they will be on a track overhead ...like the prior curtains. If they are too 'full' as a one piece mesh curtain I would assume some creative designer would make them left/right with velco in the middle like what BA does on their flights (intra-EU separating the meals from the snacks).
Knowing sluggoafa is a wealth of knowledge .. I am assuming this 'lifting' may have something to do with the 'if you cannot lift your carryon into the overhead .. it is not the FA's job to lift it for you' (which I TOTALLLLLLY agree with).
But sliding these mesh curtains back on the track and hooking up the AA-log tie-back really should not mean a lot of 'lifting'.
Please explain ......
