No, F/As have never been freaked out about 9/11. We actually want them to keep pax from going between cabins. However, it would cost alot right now to put the curtains back on, and if you ever fly on a plane that does have curtains, try lifting one and see how much it weighs....you would be surprised.
I've met plenty of FA's who say they REALLY don't want curtains to come back. They said they like to be able to look down the whole cabin.
Albeit , this was on UA, but they were the other airline involved in 9/11.
