Absolutely correct. My sister's best friend was on that US Air Express flight that slid off the runway and into the water at LGA in the mid 90's. (can't remember the exact year) About half the passengers lived, and half died. After the plane broke apart as it hit the water- it also caught on fire. She was injured, but she lived. (not paralyzed or anything) She received a settlement from USAir plus the free flight privileges. However, she was so traumatized psychologically she has vowed she will never get on an airplane again.
