Unless you will be doing a OneWorld award or fly to London on your own dime, then the All-Partner award will cost you a bundle. It will be 2 awards, one to Europe and one EUR-AUS, and you can't use CX on an All-Partner award because that would be a third award. Only QF from LHR-SYD.

BTW, a OW award, BOS-SYD-BOS in F will be 230K miles.

So, your best bet is to fly to London on your own dime and connect to Qantas, still a 160K award in F, so I would still check out the regular All-Partner award going west at 145K miles and no out of pocket expense except for taxes and fees.
