That's the thing with the new Europe pricing concept, all tickets are one-way so you can combine different tickets i.e. flying on a cheap ticket on the outbound leg and a more expensive one on the return leg.
For your trip to London you bought a cheap ticket to London (booking class T or W for example) and a more expensive ticket for the return leg (booking class Q or M for example).
It's nothing strange about that.
