Well, BA Board regularls and new 'do' friends, here's a nice Friday night (fairly) OT for you...it's been a big week for old
GBOAC. I handed in my resignation at the company I've worked at for the last 6 and a half years (and in fact the only company I've ever been at) which was one of the most draining things I;'ve ever done and I'll leave behind some amazingly talented and wonderful people
But I did it to accept a great new job ^

Come Feb wen my notice is up, I'll be entering a bravenew world (well, hopefully, this is the policy I've been told about anyway!) of regular MFUs, ex-AMS, I-class trickery/sneaking in meetings around AP requirements and triple BA AmEx miles...that's right, I get to biook my own travel direct finally

The FTer in me wants to say that was why I took the job, but a 30% payrise, package and great opportunity and challenge I'm really looking forward to may may have something more to do with it
I've been out celebrating with some champers and now a rather nice shiraz at home after a really quite difficult week ^ So before I crash out and try to sleep for the entire weekend, here's my best wishes to you all for a great weekend, Merry Christmas and Happy New Year well in advance whilstI'm on a high-note and 2006 looks (fingers crossed) to be off to a wonderful start for me! I hope everyone else here has equally good fortune and a great year.
Right, sentimental group hug sharing stuff over! Enjoy!
Phil
