Help with Alaska MP math

This is stupid, but I need help figuring out Alaska's math.
I need 10. 958 miles on Alaska/Horizon and 11, 762 on Partners plus Alaska

I will be flying the following before 12/31:
GEG-SEA 500
SEA-ANC 1448
ANC-ORD 2836
EWR-SEA 2401
SEA-GEG 500
=7685 on Alaska (leaving 3273 left on just Alaska/Horizon)
And on AA ORD-EWR 716

I can't figure out how to add in these 716 partner miles--how does that help me? I have been ignoring it, and just trying to find a way to fly 3273 miles on AK in the next few days. However, my planned MR will leave me 171 miles short of the 3273 alaska miles i need. Does the 716 AA miles I have ignored do anything to get me out of this bind?

Thanks for any help you can offer. As an english professor, math is not my strong point (I am not proud of it, but it's true!).
