Presumably yes, at time of booking, & you pay a surplus if suddenly change your mind -doesn't sound overly complicated to me.

Am oft mildly peeved to have paid £x amount for a weekend break & just the one change of clothes spare on me, and others queueing ahead of me arguing at check-in about being allowed 4 or 5 suitcases onboard, having paid the same price.

FR web check-in sounds intruiging. Still have my eyes on the LGW-Shannon trip - £11 all-in, FRI-SUN. Any b&b/inns over-looking the coast anyone can recommend, please do so!
