Next month, I'm flying on the following itin: DTW-ORD-ICN-SYD. Flights are all on KE except DTW-ORD which is on NW.

Then... after arrival in SYD, we have a separate reservation on QF from SYD-ADL.

My question has to do with lost luggage. Let's just say that for some reason (knock on wood), my bags don't make it with me to SYD. Korean's next flight to SYD would be 24 hours later, and I'd already be in Adelaide, and not planning on being back in SYD for nearly 2 weeks.

What obligation would KE have to get my bags to me in a location nowhere near my actual arrival city, especially when they don't serve the destination where I'll actually be??
