To be fair, on a LON-MAN or even the slightly longer UK Domestics, the most important thing to me is my G&T. So keeping the free bar would be my top priority. However, there's a difference between me paying £55 in N on my own money and my company paying £300 in J. For the latter, a G&T and a bag of crisps doesn't cut it. However, given the flight is so short, an acceptable compromise to me (and not just as a status pax, since this covers full fare Dom too) would be better catering in the lounges for Band 1 flights. On longer Euro Chaveller flights I'd feel deeply aggrieved if catering as further reduced. Those pizzas ain't gourmet...but they're a life-saver sometimes. This is surely the only thing which practically to most non-FTers (i.e. not marketing-bollox wise like "more backup when things go wrong" which is a bit of a fib, or "OLCI", etc.) keeps BA apart from the LCCs

And if they reduce it back to (virtually) just a free bar now, that'll be the next thing to disappear too...
