From the Daily:
YEG, CSSA Kory Kilborn, gets sweet recognition from customer? 500 lbs of chocolate! Earlier this week, Kory Kilborn, Customer Sales and Service Agent, couldn?t believe her eyes when she was asked to come to the Air Canada administration office at Edmonton Airport and found 500 pounds of chocolate waiting for her there. The gift was from long-time customer Mr. Vijay Gupta Bansal who owns several chocolate/candy factories in the Edmonton area. Mr. Bansal wanted to express his thanks to Kory for her consistent performance in providing him with exceptional customer service so he said it with chocolate. Now, Kory?s routine includes daily chocolate deliveries to the Baggage Office, STOC, Sales Counter, Ramp lunchroom and GSE.
Note: While Kory never seeks the limelight, she is well known for her behind-the-scenes efforts arranging bake sales for Breast Cancer, collecting money for Edmonton?s less fortunate, arranging cards and cakes for employees who are not well and just lending a sympathetic ear to her colleagues. She is also Edmonton?s committee member for the Award of Excellence. Anyone who knows Kory, agrees with our customer. She?s a great Air Canada employee and an exceptional human being.
I worked beside Kory for some 12 years and every day of that was a delight to have her there. She was someone that one could always count upon to help out and do it right.
It has been more than 10 years since that time and yet every time that I pass through YEG she has a "Hi Cutie" for me. For someone of my advancing years that sure brightens my day. When my wife travels she often comes home with a "I saw Kory today, she stopped to say hello".
It is nice for me to hear about this story.
