I'm pleased to read that solid review of the Westin St J --- we've had a consistent pattern of INCONSISTENT reviews on this place. Most say it is okay for a vacation with family, but not a deluxe resort for others. It's been more than 4 years since I was there, so I shall refrain from further comment except to say that this Westin is NOT a part of the Luxury Collection group........

For my part, I'll second the mention of the Bristol in Vienna and also add that I strongly suspect I would revel in sheer delight to visit any or ALL of the Hacienda properties in Mexico that SPG aligned with 3 or 4 years ago. (I recognize that most people would not share this interest.)
