We vacationed at The Westin St. John last February. We had a FANTASTIC time. The rooms were large and well appointed. We had a nice lanai facing the pool. We asked, and received, a microwave to make popcorn.

We were shocked to see the flat screen TV displaying channels from metro NY!!! Apparently they have a satelite dish and pipe you local stations? Either that or everyone down there watches metroNY TV.

There were lots of activies planned to keep my 10 year old entertained. He made several friends. There's always someone asking if you need a beverage or something to eat. The kids get bottomless soda cups.

The beach was great, even though I had read countless reviews saying it was man made and horrible. I know beaches. That's a good beach.. man made or not. A bit crowded during president's week, but still a nice beach. Sure, Trunk Bay beach is better, but it's a pain in the butt to get to and I can't charge cocktails and food to my room. ;-)

Bathrooms at the beach were kept immaculate, even with the crowded state of the resort. The staff was courteous and helpful.

They arranged a private wave runner outing for us. We had so much fun we did it every day there after. They always found time for us. This was during a sold out week, mind you.

I really can't say enough about the place.

We were departing St Thomas very early in the morning, too early for the Westin Breeze (their water taxi) to take us back. The Westin arranged for a cigarette type boat to take us to St. Thomas... at their expense. My son was thrilled! Heck, I was thrilled.

I highly recommend this property.
