Based upon some recommendations here I also picked up a Waterfield designs bag (www.sfbags.com) this year. It's been rock solid and has been excellent for organization as it includes a gajillion pockets, zippers, etc.

I chose the Cargo bag in black leather, but was very very tempted by the cool look of the camel leather. I also chose the paragliding buckle instead of the odd airline seat buckle as it's a bit more professional.

I highly recommend the combo with the little bag for cables/etc. and a sleeve for your laptop. The little baggie has been great for wifi cards, business cards, phone cords, etc. while the neoprene sleeve has provided great protection for my laptop.
