Thumbs down No curtains on AA, but HP has them

I'm wondering why AA still refuses to install curtains on their planes when CO and now HP have them. Are their FA's still freaked out about 9-11?

This is a letter I received from HP confirming the new curtain installation.

Dear Mr. Byrd,

Yes, mesh cabin divider curtains are gradually being installed onboard our aircraft. The cabin divider curtain must be secured open at all times when the aircraft is on the ground (boarding, taxi, deplaning, during takeoff and landing) and during descent.

If the aircraft is equipped with cabin divider curtains, the Flight Attendants are instructed to use them. The cabin divider are to be closed after take-off following the cycling of the Fasten Seat Belt sign by the pilots.

If you would like to provide flight numbers, dates and city pairs for the flights where the cabin divider curtains were installed onboard the aircraft and not used during flight, we can follow up with those specific crewmembers and review with them the related policies and procedures.

Thank you.
